Daniel Krautbauer is an analog wilderness film photographer and award winning television photojournalist based in Los Angeles, California. As a lover of all things analog, Daniel continues to produce the majority of his work on celluloid using traditional techniques and vintage equipment.

Daniel received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Michigan University, and spent the following four years as a photojournalist for an ABC television affiliate in Northern Minnesota. during that time, Daniel was awarded an Eric Sevareid award of merit from the Northwest Broadcast News Association for his work on a news story about dog sled racing.

Today, Daniel spends his time between outdoor adventures as a camera technician for Panavision, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the Mojave National Preserve Artist’s Foundation.
